The Northern Hub for Veterans and Military Families Research at Northumbria University, in partnership with Fighting With Pride, are hosting the first annual conference on research with the UK LGBT+ Veterans. The aim of this conference is to bring together academics, the health and social care sector, local government, charities, the LGBT+ community and veterans to focus on the past, present day and future of LGBT+ veterans and their experiences during and after military service.
Held in Sutherland Building at Northumbria University on 12 January 2023, there will be keynote speakers, oral and poster presentations, organisations' stands promoting their work and opportunities for networking.
Admission to the conference is free, lunch and refreshments will be provided.
