As part of our commitment to ensuring evidence is at the heart of decision making for the benefit of ex-Service personnel and their families, we have used a robust methodology to produce a summary of current policy and practice relevant to Housing among UK ex-Service personnel and their partners. Between November 2024 and June 2025, we conducted literature searches and held stakeholder consultations to gather existing relevant information and consolidate this in to an accessible synthesis. This led to the publication of this policy and practice summary, and accompanying one-page summary, in July 2025.
