Blast and Conflict Injury Conference 2026

South Kensington Campus, Imperial College, London, United Kingdom

The Blast and Conflict Injury Conference 2026, will be taking place 29–30 June 2026 at Imperial College London (South Kensington), hosted by the Centre for Injury Studies, Imperial College London.

The programme will include keynote speeches, research talks and panel debates from international experts.

The Conflict and Blast Injury Conference aims to provide an international forum for discussing advances in best practices of pathophysiology, prevention, management, and recovery of blast and conflict-related injuries.

The conference will focus on integrated, patient-centred approaches that bridge clinical care, rehabilitation, technology, policy, and resilient health systems, particularly in settings affected by conflict, instability, and resource scarcity.

As a scientific conference, our mission is to enable open and free discussion on the impact of war on the health of those involved, most specifically blast and conflict injury. We understand that tensions and opinions relating to the current conflicts around the world may affect how we talk about this subject, but these conflicts also highlight the importance and timeliness of the work that we are doing. We ask all participants to respect the scientific integrity of the conference by keeping any commentary on geopolitical events out of presentations and discussions at the conference.

The programme aims to bring together healthcare professionals, engineers, humanitarian actors, defence experts, policymakers, and researchers to share knowledge, exchange practical solutions, and foster meaningful collaborations that directly improve protection from injury, casualty care, and patient outcomes.
