As part of our commitment to ensuring evidence is at the heart of decision making for the benefit of ex-Service personnel and their families, we have used a robust methodology to produce a summary of current research evidence relevant to UK ex-Service personnel involved in Justice system. In June 2023 we conducted a narrative literature review, a grey literature search, and stakeholder consultations, to gather existing information and conduct a synthesis. This led to the publication of this research summary, and accompanying one-page summary, in November 2023.
